Habakkuk: Prophet of Wisdom for Troubled Times is an ONGROUND ONLY Session 2 (8:30–9:45pm) course held at the Messianic Studies Institute (4950 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43230) starting October 8, 2018.

Course Description:
The much overlooked and small book of Habakkuk has much to say to us about life in an evil and unjust world. We will learn to appreciate the value of the so-called “minor prophets”, unlock the meaning of “the just shall live by faith” (a phrase repeated in the New Covenant Scriptures), and be encouraged that we can put our hope in God and trust His timing.

Howard Silverman

Howard's primary interests include the Hebrew Bible, Biblical studies, Rabbinic Literature, Jewish culture and tradition, and the Jewish essence of the New Covenant Scriptures and faith. He has been in full-time Jewish ministry since 1980, and has served as the Congregational Leader of Beth Messiah Congregation since 1991. Howard has been the President of MSI as well as a Board and Faculty member since its inception in 1994. He was the President of the UMJC from 2008–2012.
