GOING LIVE ONLINE 12/15
Biblical Hebrew 5 is a LIVE ONLINE Term 2 2022 FULL COURSE held virtually on Zoom on Thursdays: Dec 15, 22, Jan 12, 19, 26, Feb 2 from 7:00–8:30pm EST. Once you register for this course, log into your MSI account, choose this course in 'My Courses', and you will find the Zoom link in the Course Contents along with all the course materials as they are shared.
Building on Hebrew 4, we will focus on the Hif’il verb stem. In addition, we will consider the Pi’el Participle, temporal prepositions on Infinitives, and briefly look at two passive voice verb Stems. This course will cover Lessons 28–35 and 44–45 from our textbook.
MSI LIVE ONLINE
The MSI Hebrew series features the watching of pre-recorded videos before each class session. Then, we meet LIVE ONLINE via Zoom on the THURSDAY NIGHTS listed above the course description. Please make every effort to be present for the LIVE ONLINE sessions. However, while not ideal, you may also register for the MSI Hebrew series courses if you cannot attend the live sessions and watch the pre-recorded lectures at your own pace with no Thursday night participation. We encourage you to follow the schedule closely and plan ahead to be with us for these LIVE ONLINE courses so that you may get the most out of lifelong learning at MSI. After registering for a course, go to 'My Courses', select your course, and use the materials in the 'Course Contents'. The course Zoom link is also found there.
The textbook for our entire series is Bonnie Pedrotti Kittel, Victoria Hoffer, & Rebecca Abts Wright, Biblical Hebrew Text and Workbook, Second Edition, Fully Revised by Victoria Hoffer (New Haven: Yale University Press, 2004). ISBN: 9780300098624.
