2020–2021 Course Schedule

The Reaction Against Yeshua & the NT in the Talmud is a LIVE ONLINE Term 3 2021 MINI COURSE held virtually on Zoom on Two Consecutive Wednesdays March 10 & 17 from 7:00–9:30pm EST.

Course Description

Why is it that most of the Jewish community rejects Yeshua as the Messiah? The treatment of Yeshua in Rabbinic Literature helps us to understand the problem.

For hundreds of years after Yeshua’s life, the discussions between Yeshua and the Pharisees continued in the literature of the Rabbis. This mini course will discuss the eye opening disparaging statements and arguments against the personhood and significance of Yeshua, His teaching, and His disciples in Rabbinic Literature that continue to influence the Jewish world today. The course will also carefully examine a few Sanhedrin members reported in the Gospels who believed in Yeshua, as well as prominent figures in the Talmud who apparently came close enough to Yeshua to suffer the ire of their Rabbinic peers. You will gain a new appreciation of the faithfulness of God as well as the words of Paul when he said, “I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles to make them jealous”. (Rom 11:11)
