Jesus: Divine, Human, Jewish?! Feb 1 & 8

LIVE ONLINE 2023 TERM 2 MINI COURSE OR WATCH LATER

GOING LIVE ONLINE Feb 1 & 8, 2023 OR WATCH LATER

Yeshua (Jesus): Divine, Human, Jewish?! is a LIVE ONLINE Term 2 2023 MINI COURSE held virtually on Zoom on Two Consecutive Wednesdays Feb 1 & 8 from 7:00–9:30pm EST. Once you register for this course, log into your MSI account, choose this course in 'My Courses', and you will find the Zoom link in the Course Contents along with all the course materials as they are shared.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Yeshua (Jesus) is the preexistent Word (John 1:1–4). The Word then became flesh (John 1:14): covenantal, Davidic, Jewish flesh—because Jewishness was a historical necessity! This course explains why it was necessary for Yeshua to be born as a Jewish man, but also provides a deep exploration of new, holistic ways of understanding the relationship between the differences of Yeshua’s divine and human natures in one person. We will highlight obvious things about his childhood that theologies seem to erase. We will discuss His relationship with His own Jewish people and how He equally relates to people from the nations (i.e., every ethnicity). The goal is to better understand the real Yeshua, not the Jesus that every culture has remade in its own image. Come hear the latest and far more holistic research on Yeshua’s dual divine and human nature.
