Biblical Hebrew 3 is a LIVE ONLINE SIX WEEK COURSE held virtually on Zoom on Six Thursdays: April 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 28, 2026 from 7:00–8:30 PM EST. Once you register for this course, log into your MSI account, choose this course in 'Browse Products' under 'My Library', and you will find the Zoom link in the Course Contents along with all the course materials as they are shared.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In Biblical Hebrew 3 we will cover the entire verb paradigm for strong Shoresh verbs in the Qal stem, which is the most common verb stem in Hebrew. We will continue to focus on learning overall patterns that will help us to predict usage and meaning intuitively, rather than memorizing a series of facts. The workbook exercises for chapters 11-17 will provide important opportunities to practice new concepts as well as continued engagement with the Joseph narrative in Genesis. We will continue to master targeted vocabulary to enable learners to directly engage Biblical texts. As a result, we will not be simply learning abstract paradigms but instead we will be able to apply what we are learning to our engagement with the Biblical texts.
