The Israel-Palestinian Conflict Explained is a LIVE ONLINE Term 2 2024 FULL COURSE held virtually on Zoom on Two Wednesday's: Jan 10 & 17 from 7:00–9:30pm EST. Once you register for this course, log into your MSI account, choose this course in 'My Courses', and you will find the Zoom link in the Course Contents along with all the course materials as they are shared.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The current Israel/Hamas war has raised many long-standing issues both in Israel and around the world. This short two-class course will provide you with all the details you need to understand the history of the ‘Israel-Palestinian’ conflict from its origin to this very moment in history. It includes a discussion of the modern State of Israel, both pre- and post-1948. It addresses the historical attempts at a two-state solution to the conflict and explains why the claim that Israel is an ‘apartheid’ state is false. We note the inspirational highs and heartbreaking lows of the conflict experienced in the everyday struggles of ordinary people. We will seek to frame our understanding of this complex issue within a messianic Jewish worldview. As purveyors of peace in Messiah Yeshua, this course will help you to speak in an informed, intelligent, and hopeful way as we seek to be a light in these dark days.
